The Wildrose Retreat

Separate from the main Star of Texas Bed and Breakfast inn, this little Texas guest house rental was built in 1908; we moved it in and restored it. The soft colors and florals create a tranquil retreat for your Texas Hill Country vacation. It has a spacious sitting room, kitchenette, large bath with double Jacuzzi tub and mirrors. The stairway leads you up to a loft bedroom with a queen iron bed. The double French doors take you out to a sitting deck to enjoy the sunrise or quiet evening. After a day exploring all that Brownwood, TX has to offer, return to the Wildrose Retreat for a quiet evening, a candlelight dinner and a restful night’s sleep. The landscaping around the inn is a Certified Wildscape with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
