The Oak Cottage

This is our most requested cottage. The Oak Cottage provides a secluded, country retreat. It is available for a private holiday getaway or extended vacation stay. This vacation rental was built by your hosts, the Morelocks, and is home to mostly handmade furnishings by craftsmen friends and family. A spacious room with a cathedral ceiling and hand drawn cedar beams offer a great view through a large picture window to watch the wildlife. The hand textured and gauze painted walls give a natural glow, which enhances the warmth and soft light radiated by the pine walls. Queen size bed, shower in bathroom, and an exclusive (not private) hot tub located outside about 50' away. We know that you will relax and be refreshed. Enjoy a full breakfast brought to your room. After a day exploring all that the TX Hill Country has to offer, return to the Oak Cottage for a quiet evening, a candlelight dinner and a restful night's sleep. There is no phone or TV in this cottage.
