The Landscaping is a Certified Texas Wildscape, which means we have done our landscaping with our native wildlife in mind to provide food, water and shelter for them. You will enjoy hiking along our Nature Trail that winds though our 22 acres, just perfect for bird watching. You will be delighted by deer, turkey, squirrel and many varieties of birds, owls and crawling creatures. You will be greeted by Emily the ball chasing dog, and Star & Tex the cats. On the trail, Biscuit the llama will generally take the walk with you. Along the trail, you will find little treasures of art and fun objects to mark your way. We have a bench looking over the meadow where you may sit and might see our pair of Red tail hawks soar through the blue sky. If needing a spiritual lift, sit on the old church pew and view the prayer tree where many guest have hung special crosses and sentimental items. Star of Texas' entire landscape is totally native and we do our best to practice organic gardening to help preserve the natural habitat for all our little creatures.
