Christmas Candy Recipe

I love making candy at Christmas time, and one of the favorites we serve here is Peppermint Bark. enjoy!
12oz chocolate chips (use good quality), 1 # of white chocolate chips, 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract, 1/2 c. crushed peppermint candy. Line a 9×13 pan with foil, spay lightly. Spread out the dark chocolate chips in a layer, place in the oven on 250 till almost melted. Remove and spread out to make a solid sheet. Place in the refrigerator to firm about 20 min. Melt the white choc. in a dbl. boiler or use microwave. Let cool just a bit and then mix in peppermint extract, now spread over the top of the cooled drk chocolate and sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy. Let cool and then break into pieces.
