If you are looking for a getaway to enjoy some couple time, then our Oak Cottage is just perfect for you. This is the first cabin that we built when we started the bed & breakfast and it is still my favorite.
Don & I built this with love and our own hands. The pine beaded ceiling and the hand textured walls are the result of many hours of making this little cottage very special for making our guest feel comfortable. The beautiful iron head board forged by Don is Oak leaves and acorns to capture the beauty of the surrounding area. A large picture window allows you to view the wildlife outside, be it birds on the feeders or other critters walking by.
The Oak Cottage sits very secluded on our 20 tree covered acres. The porch looks out into the woods where the deer and other wildlife go strolling by. At night the sounds of wildlife calling in the distance let’s you know that you are in the midst of the Texas hill country.
Your private hot tub is just steps away from the front porch. We keep it set by the weather on the perfect temp for you to unwind and relax while gazing at a sky full of stars overhead.
There is a fire pit that allows you to enjoy conversation and make smores’ or just drink wine and talk for hours with out interruption.
We deliver a hot breakfast to you each morning around 9 am. And offer other packages to make your stay even more memorable. So we hope you will make your reservation and stay with us in the top of the Texas hill country for your next romantic getaway.
