We love that we can say all our elopements are done in house by family. Today, I want to introduce you to Rebecca, from Baked Artisan Goods.
Becca’s passion is baking breads and pastries, but we love that she creates the Petite wedding cakes for all our elopements and small intimate weddings we do here at Star of Texas Bed & Breakfast. Becca is the owner of Baked Artisan Goods, a Cottage home bakery that makes the most amazing artisan breads and pastries. Becca has studied in Vermont and California with top bread and pastry chefs to learn her art. She started doing the small cakes for us back years ago and has created her own cake recipe and an amazing icing that everyone loves.
Your cake is made in her little kitchen which is only a short distance from the bed & breakfast, as she is our daughter-in-love, so we pick up your cake fresh done right before your wedding. We choose the size of cake to fit your needs, for just a couple it is a precious little 4″ petite cake. If you have added guest to join you for your wedding, then we size the cake for guest to enjoy a slice also.
We are proud of Becca and the cakes she makes for each of our wedding couples. If you are lucky, you might catch her on a weekend that she is set up at the Artisan Market selling all the breads and pastries she hand crafts too.
